Could you be satisfied with Heaven if Christ was not there?

praying through this... and realizing I've made heaven something it is not and have missed the true treasure: Jesus.

"The critical question for our generation—and for every generation—is this: If you could have heaven, with no sickness, and with all the friends you ever had on earth, and all the food you ever liked, and all the leisure activities you ever enjoyed, and all the natural beauties you ever saw, all the physical pleasures you ever tasted, and no human conflict or any natural disasters, could you be satisfied with heaven, if Christ was not there?"

wow what a thought provoking question... i think most of the excitement about heaven is the freedom from pain, sickness, being with those who are not here on earth that we love and all the other awesome things about heaven, I think these things take the focus off the Lord sometimes. This does challenge you to think what is your main reason for wanting to be in heaven. Wow.
